after much thought, i've decided to spend all my weekends in paris rummaging through french flea markets and couture resale boutiques. i dont plan on buying anything that doesnt make me absolutely gasp, but i cant think of anything more fun i dont mind doing for hours on my own. i mean, in public, of course.

i went to H&R Block yesterday and paid $109 for the pleasant company of my tax preparer and to discover i owed the American government eleven dollars in federal taxes. they asked me if i wanted to contribute $3 to the election fund...
