This weekend was amazing...Matt and I got engaged! I'm sure most of you probably already knew, but I wanted to officially announce it to the world! It's impossible to describe how happy I am. I have never felt such joy.

I just gotta say...I love being a Mary Kay consultant! This business is the best thing that has happened to me in quite a while. The ladies I work with are simply incredible, especially Loree ;) Meeting tonight was great--I was Queen of Sales for the week which was really fun. I'm super excited for this weekend! I get to go home for three whole days! Saturday I'm holding a Mary Kay party and 9 people are coming--that is huge. It's gonna be great. I'm back at school and it is a very bittersweet feeling. I was just catching up on last weeks journal entries from all of you and it makes me long to go back home and live it all over again. It's been 5 days since I had my right knee arthroscopic medial menisectomy done. (meaning they had to remove part of the cartilage from my knee because it was torn and folded on itself) So far, the rehab has been fine. Naturally, my knee is still sore, but that is to be expected. Right now I'm at my grandparents house. We just had a great dinner of ham, scalloped potatoes and layered salad. Very yummy. Tomorrow is my grandma's birthday so we are celebrating her birthday tonight. Even Mike and Matt are here. It is so amazing to be surrounded by family. I love being home!

Why can't it just be this time tomorrow already?! I'm so tired and I hate this nervous/sick feeling in my stomach. I did just get some good news. I have a pretty solid grade going into my physics final so if I can just pull a C or better on the test I will have a B in the class! It's amazing how having a simple conversation with the one you love more than anything can bring peace to the soul. I just got exactly what I needed. Now I can go to sleep.
