So, yesterday was Seattle's HRC fundraiser "The Bowled and the Beautiful" at Leiani Lanes. David's birthday was fun. Bob picked a great little Italian place in Bremerton, and we hadn't been across the sound in a while (sadly, the navy wasn't in, so the streets were running thick with seamen*). I kind of had an emotional meltdown last night. We've been under a lot of pressure, Dave's been doing interviews (sometimes 3 or 4 a day, several days a week - by phone and on site). Well, we're here. We found a dog friendly apartment in stellar Kenmore, WA. It's totally overflowing with adequacy, and "not-too-awfulness". Of course squeezing a 1500 square foot home into a 1000 square foot apartment (without a garage or attic) is turning out to be an interesting dilemma, but it'll work out. Well, it seems the bitchy picky insane straight couple are buying our house.
