Apparently it's a request they make to everyone that leaves. I don't think they can take legal action if I were to contact some, but it would probably ruin any good standing I might have left at the company. Even though I don't work for them anymore, they still want me to run anything related to them by HR, even just a coffee with a former co-worker.
