Last one of the year
Okay - just sneaking in one last post before 2013 comes to a finish. 2013 on the whole was complete and utter rubbish and I will be glad to see the back of it. Next year can only be an improvement and I plan to enjoy it tremendously. Put the Christmas tree up today although I haven't quite finished it - still need to drape the beads around it. Next is wrapping parcels. Everything came to a grinding halt though when I got a headache - my head bones hurt. Feel like a meanie because I was going to take the dog for a walk - maybe tomorrow evening. I've spent the day with the doors open at either end of the house to blow away the smell of fresh paint wafting in from next door (even slept last night with the window open - haven't done that in years). Didn't need to go vote as I did that via the mailman a week ago which has made my day wonderfully free from last minute political shenanigans. ( Read more... ) -

Division
I was talking to a little fellow today, only been going to school for 6 weeks, and had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing. I had noticed him looking a bit peeved and staring at his sandwich and I wondered what the problem might be... limp lettuce, the crusts not cut off, stale bread? Nope - it was pretty serious though. Brain Drain
So there I was at work the other day delivering library overdue notices to various classrooms. I go to enter this particular class but hesitate in the doorway as they have the lights off and are using their interactive whiteboard with the teacher on the other side of the board.
