What the hell sort of word is 'swashbuckling', anyway? I understand the 'buckle' part, but how does one swash a buckle? Or buckle a swash? What is a swash?
Once upon a time, when I was wee and cute, I used to think it was 'swatch-buckling' until someone enlightened me and ruined my fun.

"Arrr, laddies, buckle your Swatches, it's... PIRATE TIME!"

I've always imagined Wednesday looking faintly like Hugh Laurie.
Must be the snark and the scruff.
