 . .it's coming up.  Yep.  The 17th of August.  But what shall I do?  I want to celebrate it but I don't know how or what to do.

Any ideas?  Anyone wanna help me celebrate somehow?  I'm a bit worn out preparing social stuff for others (which were wonderful!), so I want it to be something that I don't have to work too hard at.

I'd mentioned a movie earlier this week.  I still haven't seen Harry Potter but hear there are others out there to be seen as well.  I'm flexible as to time and place.

Addendum:  Tonight (midnight) is also the release of the book, fyi.  I pre-ordered so don't *have* to go - but I need an additional copy for my daughter's birthday anyway if anyone ( Read more... )

My youngest, my daughter, my almost 15 year-old-going-on-21 got her first job today.  Yay Emily!

Now i can be supported in the manner to which i  . . . . .so richly . . .. .deserve?  Yeah, not on minimum wage :)  Oh well.  It's the first step, right?

Not that I *need* more people on my friends list, but it has come to my attention via some of my current friends that I am way out of date with my LJ Friends List.  I'm not sure how to remedy this,  I've looked at some of my friend's lists and well, some people pick such . . ummm . . ."different" names, it's hard to really know who they are.
