My Dad has been hit with diverticulitis, and apparently for a week or two he chalked it up to stomach flu or something. By the time he went to the hospital, he had quite an infection going, which they are treating with antibiotics. J. and I have voted. We live in a district with an exceedingly close and contentious House race, so we'll be watching the results closely.
