Yoshiyuki and I had a long conversation about lying in which we acknowledged our differences of opinion on the subject. It was not a messy break up, but I'm waiting to see how I feel about it. Signs point to: pretty okay.

I had a rather out-of-the-ordinary experience today. I went to a Japanese Western-style wedding!! One of my favorite private students invited me to her sister's wedding for a variety of reasons. Ok, One Piece Strong World was SOOO FREAKING AWESOME. I just wish I'd been in an American theatre where I could have laughed and shouted with glee together with the audience. As it was I had to limit my vocal triumph to the occasional unsuppressable snort and a massively stupid-looking grin. Spoilers in the cut.

So, I woke up to a soft earthquake a few minutes ago and I couldn't go back to sleep because of the vivid dream I'd had. I dreamed that I was a soldier in the sixth battalion of an air ship that was going down due to faulty craftsmanship.
