Last night, on the way home from a dance performance, I listened to part of the presidential debate. I'm not sure what's changed in the weeks since the first one, but I found I can no longer stand listening to John McCain. I actually kind of dig this one, mostly because it's not so obnoxiously obvious, plus a reasonable thing to attach to your car keys. -
Morality, and How People Vote
I came across an interesting article about the ways we define morality and how that relates to voting behavior. The author, a professor of psychology at UVA, proposes that liberals and conservatives have different ways of thinking about what makes things moral (huge shock) and in considering what concepts are important to morality.
