I baked another cake today - this one was chocolate with fudge icing, red decorative icing, and a peanut butter filling. Everything turned out okay except for the filling ... something went wrong in the melting process and the brown sugar didn't melt properly, so it has a gritty texture (like chomping on watery peanut butter-flavored sugar). Mom and I set out to the college early this morning. She was a nervous wreck because she wasn't sure if she could get back into college studying - she was worried that age made her mind fall apart (since it made her body fall apart).
