So, got back yesterday from climbing Mt. Fuji. Ah, Fuji. The stereotypical, best known symbol of Japan. It really does rise out of no where in the landscape and it towers over the surrounding prefectures. FJET (Fukui-ken JETs) offered a trip to climb the mountain and watch the sunrise from the summit. Makes me want to go climb Pike's Peak now... Yeah, maybe after I can clear So Deep or Max 300 (pant, pant, pant...) I remember climbing to the top of Utah mountains as a teen, though, and the view from there is permanently burned into my memory.

As for the hatred, yeah. Sarah Brodie threw a party, her friends parked in business spaces, the businesses freaked out and tried to block them in, the friends lifted the K Truck blocking them and left without an apology. Shortly after that, my principal and vice-principal got involved and made a total of 4 apologies to the 2 businesses. I am on thin ice already, and I didn`t do anything! The neighbor lady hates gaijin and speaks (as Chris Redd, another JET calls it) Geezer-ben. I can`t understand her, and she is all kinds of nosy. Grrr.
