Cherry Pie.
I've made two cherry pies this week; I made one Sunday for dinner with my grandparents, and then made the filling and top crust for the second one yesterday. I also made a lot of the cinnamon spirals yesterday because I only use half of the pie crust pastry to make the second pie. Ha ha. I think Vimes will always be my favourite Discworld character. There are other characters I love: Moist von Lipwig, The Patrician, Ponder Stibbons, Arch-Chancellor Ridcully, but Vimes is always number one. -

Le lundi de semaine passé, je commence programme de immersion française. Je fait parler le français tourjours. C'est difficile, mais j'ai faire amis. Ils aident moi. c'est le bon amusements. Mon français est meuilleur que début.

Snow in April
Gah, it snowed three days ago and still hasn't melted. I was planning on enjoying the spring weather by taking long walks and sunning, but instead I'm holed-up inside trying to block out the snow and cold. Bad Cold pt. 2: It's not a cold!
So, I don't actually have a cold. My symptoms are all wrong according to the pamphlets in the Doctor's office. I don't have the flu either; again my symptoms are wrong. I either have strep throat or mono. The doctor did a rapid test thing-y for strep throat and it came back negative, but he still gave me the antibiotics to deal with it ( Read more... ) -
Bad Cold
I've managed to catch a really bad cold. It's the worst I've had in 4 years. I really hope it breaks soon. I'm doing my best to coddle it and feed it so it'll be over soon, but it's taking a while to abate. Usually, I would have moved on to part two the stuffy nose by now, instead it's added a fever. Bleh.

Movie and cutting up a newspaper.
I watched 'He's not that into you' tonight. It was better than I expected. I would recommend it to other people, particularly my dad. It reminded me of 'Love, Actually', except without the whole christmas thing. I admit I cried towards the end. It was Doctor Zhivago level crying.
