I guess I'll be the odd one out and say while I quite enjoyed the video, I thought the contrast of the song with Winchester images was sometimes heartwarming but at other times downright creepy. The sorts of lessons they've all internalized and the lengths to which they'll take things really bring various layers to the vid.

Exactly! The tension between the heartwarming and the creepy in their familial mode is one of the things I find really interesting in the show. The lessons are far from unambiguous and it's what provides so much of the internal drive of the show. And either way it plays out it provides a satisfying emotional twinge.

DAMN! That was AWESOME! It would have been easy to let the song itself do a lot of the heavy lifting in the vid-- it's pretty perfect as a song about the Winchesters-- but the images were just so well selected, timed, and sequenced. The part with the wedding rings especially just about killed me. Super.
