went 2.2 miles today without stopping, felt like i was going to die so i slowed down for 30 seconds to get a drink and just catch my breath and then ran the next .2 miles to get me around 2.4something. then i walked the last .1 miles for a total of 2.5 miles ( Read more... )

23 years old today!

nothing remarkable :-/ spent most of the day studying or napping. exciting i know. my birthday *always* falls either within finals, or after everyone has left town. or both! yay me.

2.2 miles today without stopping, took a break for a minute and then continued running for 2.5 miles total. yay.

met my trainer, she's SO super nice and thin and smart sounding. do with me what you will, margarita.

ok so clearly god loves me, because the Lubee Bat Conservancy part-time animal keeper position that i had applied for (and been turned down, due to the fact that i can only commit to a summer job) has not only just become available again but i have been officially hired for it!! it turns out that his other part-time keeper is leaving soon and can't ( Read more... )

this past month has just been a suck-fest. i have finals next week that i'm incredibly unmotivated to study for, a birthday on saturday that i'm going to spend the whole day studying on, and a summer job that is looking less and less likely to be one that i'll actually enjoy ( Read more... )

ran 2.15 miles today....without stopping! start to finish took me 25 minutes. then I slightly jogged/walked  for another 5 minutes which got me to 2.4 miles total.

I feel good!

also, yay for passing animal systems III. maybe now my heartburn will go away. i enjoy my esophagus in its un-eroded state :-(.

so, i saw the 300 tonight. it was alright, though there were a few things that made me "wtf?"

first of all, the spartan wardrobe. lol leather speedos for two hours. no seriously, it looks incredibly uncomfortable. wicked cool cloaks though.
