Thanks so much. I definitely wanted a different feel to the character in the past (and in how she reacted to Laura), the relationship is hardly ever explored on the show. There's such an interesting dynamic between Laura, Bill and Kara (with Bill caught somewhere in the middle). Next part tomorrow.

Hee, I like to go somewhere different with my fics -- so glad you enjoyed! I didn't think that Kara was being entirely truthful in that scene where she pulled the gun on Laura, and I wanted to play with that by exposing some of her motivations in the past. There's such an interesting dynamic between Laura, Bill and Kara.

Uhmm... that was amazing? (^_^) It was fascinating, the way you drew Kara and Laura's relationship and managed, within that frame, to therefore Bill's relationship to each. Simply wonderful, and I'll be looking forward to the conclusion.

Thanks!! I wanted very much to write a scene where Laura and Kara discuss Bill -- the perspectives are so different, and I enjoyed working with their misconceptions about the others' feelings. Bill's POV comes in next; the dynamic between the three characters was a lot of fun to write.

I really like the Laura/Kara dynamic; it's so unexplored on the show and becomes quite interesting as Laura gets closer and closer (*cough*) to Bill.
