In a stroke of genius, I managed to leave my Canon G10 outside last night. And oh, guess what, it didn't just rain, it fucking stormed.

I can only pray to the gods that the rice trick does the job. Otherwise, FML. I can't exactly afford another $500 camera right now (and I'm too snobby to settle for less). :(

Thanks to the glory of garage sales, I am amassing quite the pile of baby clothes for at least five of the babies that I know are due this fall. And for cheap.

I sent in the check for property taxes on Wednesday. Usually it takes 3-5 business days for a check to be processed.

Not this time.
