On Friday night a group of us, including starfirephoenix and mandymaria, went to see Watchmen in costume again. After the movie we spent about an hour or two taking photos (much to the delight of people coming out of various movies :P). Almost complete!
Yes, yes, she is almost done! I just wanted to pop online and check my list from last night, and pretty much everything is done. So hungry, so I'm sitting here eating jelly at midnight :P

Sheer overlay draping
So I had issue with drawing out the pattern so I figured... what they hey, lets try and drape it! It's definitely worked out much better and I THINK I got it. It also massively saves me on fabric, so yay! Anywho here are the pics:

Cincher solved! Thanks everyone!
So the cincher has been toiled, and it looks pretty good, so it's ready to be cut out. A huge thanks to you guys for your help with my question on how to put it together! I thought I was on the right track but I do like to check these things, in case someone sees things differently! Corset is done!
I hammered in the grommets today. Hoorah. It looks pretty good on, except for the fact that I don't fill it out in the bust area... *sigh* I'll definitely have to add some padding in that area to get the right look. Thankfully no-one will really see it anyway! I swear I'm the only person I know who doesn't get any cleavage from her corset. Yes I am ( Read more... )
