So the mayor of Madison made time in his busy schedule to film an appearance for the "Chad Vader" series of YouTube videos. Yeah.

(Incidentally, the co-op where the videos are filmed has delicious granola. Mmmm, granola.)

He'll wake up smelling all people-ish. I'll bet he hates that.

We started our large animal dissection yesterday, and while equine specimens are usually small ponies, our group got a mule/hinny, we don't know which.

Male horse + female donkey = hinny.
Male donkey + female horse = mule.

So exciting! We considered dubbing her "Pokey", but will probably go with "Jennie".

I should probably get out more.

So I started my job training yesterday, which was fairly uneventful except for the rancid monkey serum I had to handle from the primate lab. Ew. Now I'm all afraid I have monkey diseases. Additionally, I'm also thinking about applying for another part-time job in a research lab--I would get to handle rats! I likem me some rats. They might be ( Read more... )
