Good update LS!

I think you write Ennis so well and he has had a pretty shitty life by the sound of it. I am glad that he has Jack and it seems so far that he is Ennis' lifeline without there being any overt attraction on his part. That is what I love about this story - Jack is being so professional - it gives such credibility to this story. It is not being rushed at all - we can savour each chapter and wait impatiently for the next update...

Oh, just gorgeaous. I like that in this chapter you have made Jack so very human. Not that you didn't before, but I saw him as only an authoratative figure. In this chapter you've made him vulnerable, and scared what might be for him on the outside.

I thought Jack was fully together but it seems he also needs someone to talk to, a place to belong.

I still wonder how you will finally get them together, because Jack does seem to feel competely responsible for Ennis.

Great talk between them both. Ennis' feelings when he was talking to the doctor were very believable. Reading the poem out loud is something that will connect J&E I'm sure, as Jack drifts into Ennis' world and Ennis floats into Jack's. Just lovely.

This was a great update----loved it!

I love the growing development between Jack & Ennis, amidst all the issues Ennis has to work through makes it even more incredible.

Already, Jack breaks a rule for Ennis---allowing him to shower in his apartment, I have to wonder how many other rules Jack will break for Ennis.

Another excellent chapter---thanks so much!

WOW!!! I have been trying to catch-up on this story.....IT is good! You have done an awesome job so far. A lot of research must have gone into this, as it is very realistic. Now, this chapter, the story is taking on a new tone. Jack is starting to show signs of being a 'person' with wants needs, which could make for an interesting update. thanks much. It's a good story.
