I think Ennis is well under way, there's something deeper that has gone into her mind and her heart, something that is proving its real drug ... Jack.

This chapter is one of the most beautiful things I have read, no kidding.
It gave me so many emotions that I hardly know where to start my praise.
Everything is well written: Jack breaking a rule for Ennis; Ennis needing to steal dirty underware; Jack bringing pizza and then, again, looking for Ennis, the dialogue in the library. I kept the poem at the end because the only thing that I can say is "perfect" and I am afraid that even this word is totally inadequate and can't express how much I loved it.

Thanks so much for this amazing chapter.

Totally understand what Jack is saying about Ennis's feeling for him and he's probably right about some of Ennis' feelings for him. But Jack seems to be lonely and hiding out also. Ennis is scared of the solo conseling sessions, but once he opens up in them, I think they will help him alot.
