E is in the dining room playing with Spirograph!  I bought one circa the 70's on ebay.  It's got ALL the parts.  We played last night and he's hooked.  Hee.

...most weekends LJ is so quiet I hear crickets.  But, the weekend I'm out of town everyone is all posty.   Looks like some good ones too, but it'll be a while before I can sit down and read them.  Maybe tonight after the boys are bathed and in bed.

We're watching Meet Me in St. Louis for the second time this week.  The boys are enthralled.   Am I the only one who considers this a Christmas movie even though it's one of those "a year in the life" types ( Read more... )

You know what I love about my neighborhood?  When the guys go out to shovel walks they automatically make sure the sidewalks and driveway of our corner neighbors are shoveled.  No one asks them to.  They just do it.  Mick and Linda are the couple on the corner.  He is very ill and has been for 3 years now.  Linda can't and shouldn't be shoveling.  ( Read more... )
