I’m lost, so confused
My face all cut up and bruised
I will never forget
Those deathly threats

There’s no one I can trust
Look at everyone in disgust
No way to see the light
Not after all of the blight

Alone, alone, all alone
In the darkness, the unknown
Living in some kind of abyss
Alone just to reminisce

Broken Dreams

Darkness falls and creates a shade
My mind wanders, reality fades
A better place, I start to dream
A place to boost my self-esteem
Alas, the clouds start to fade
Out of grasp, life has strayed
Thinking of a better place
Only to find myself encased
Conscience now of my mortality
I slowly begin to face reality
