Meh, thats how parents are sometimes, they lack logic in their way of thinking. Perhaps there is a good reason for what they do, but how could you ever admit to it? Im sure if you become a mom, you might make up some crazy rules for your kids. It's just the nature of humans, to protect their children, even if they are being a bit overprotective...
