The party was a resounding success and as of 9pm I was finished ALL the cleaning up...thank the Lord (insert own deity or otherwise here!) for paper and plastic cups, plates, cutlery...etc!! Quick update to say that the gf issues were more serious than I thought. I won't go into details but it involved a lot of late night/ early morning discussions, plenty of tears, no shouting or screaming (which makes it all the scarier!!) and an (ongoing resolution) of sorts. Well, once again it has been ages since I updated. This time I almost have a real reason...I'm sick. I have a throat/chest infection that includes a hacking persistent cough that is keeping me awake!! I feel so crappy.
