So, my sister just turned down Tufts, University of Michigan, University of Chicago, and Columbia.

She's coming to Georgetown.

This is going to be weird.

Speaking from experience, it's alot less weird than one might think. But, it might not be the same for you.

What, you never wanted a pet freshman to do your bidding? How could a sister -not- fit this purpose?

Well, this "pet" hates my guts, in the way that only a self-centered, ultra-confident 18 year old can be. How could anyone possibly know something or have experienced something that she hasn't? It's simply unthinkable to suggest that she's anything other than the supreme intellectual being of the world.

Ok, yes, that does sound like you'll be needing some space next fall. But she'll be an undergrad, so it can't be that bad, right?

And I suppose selling her to gypsies is out of the question? I'm an only child, so I wouldn't know these things.

Selling her to the gypsies is a tough one. I could prepare pie charts showing my parents how I have rescued them from thousands of dollars of more debt to put her through school, but they may not be able to think dispassionately about the subject. Rumor has it that they "love" her.

I was thinking about locking her in the clock tower.

I'm going to tell her about your drinking and carousing habits. this is not a threat, but a promise!!!

::you can, of course, negate the issue with the usual donation to my favorite charity::
