Once the decision is made - and to be honest, it was an easy decision to make - the plan actually has to be executed. Which means that Geoffrey and Duck actually have to get people. The day after the play was great. Which isn't to say that Geoffrey hadn't enjoyed everything to do with the play - well, he could've done without the extra drama, but such was life - but having a day with absolutely nothing to do but sleep and eat and fuck was fantastic. Geoffrey figured he got the cast list in just under the wire. Another day and all anyone would be able to talk about was the election, but then that didn't really matter anyway. Geoffrey's decision to hold the meeting at his home rather than the stage wasn't entirely based on the fact that two of the five people who needed to meet lived there, but that certainly didn't hurt. Mostly he was thinking that they had a table large enough to seat everyone, even if they had to use a mix of chairs and stools to sit at it, and ready ( Read more... )
