Where did i go wrong? I think i lost something down the line without ever realizing it. i was thinking about this while driving home from school today ... i drove past moody yet again, and i saw all the kids milling about the bus stop walking around .... and i remembered what life was like. was it so different? yes. does it feel so different? no

I've been feeling that way a lot since I started art school. A few times I was thinking they should just burn the whole school down, because despite having art skills myself, I don't have much faith in the value of the crappy art they make at my school. That's my pessimistic point of view, anyways. It's not always that bad.

Were you always extremely happy in high school? New places take some getting used to. Of course you don't feel at home yet. I think that before people become great friends, they have to spend a couple years together talking about banal things.

Maybe you're experiencing something different than what I am. But that's the way I feel about it.

You pretty much hit on everything. I know what you mean about having lost something, having left it behind, and not really seeing anything in front of you that can ever match it. We need to get together and be mopey together.
