it's amazing how i hadn't been to lebanon in 4 years, and yet it was so easy to slip into the same pattern: relaxing with my aunt and uncle, helping grandma and the farm workers pack vegetables, heading down to beirut and traipsing around through the heat. the difference being that i am now able to better recognize the class differences among ( Read more... )

i need a voice lesson. i haven't had one in over a month and my technique is all over the place--it's awful. i don't even enjoy practicing, i can just feel that it's all wrong. it's so upsetting because i KNOW i'm singing from my throat and i keep using every method i know to fix that, but it's not really helping, and i know i'm singing too heavily ( Read more... )

so here i am again after another month or so. the school year ended pretty well; exams went fine and had some good chilling before leaving. ( last couple days were weird as hell though )
