Today's my first weigh-in. -
Bowling - Week Three
Sorry for not posting results for week 2, but Patrick and I didn't play against anyone (nor did we play well). This week was a totally different story. We played a team. And we played them well. Yet we still lost all three games. But, Patrick scored his highest game (119) in the first and I scored 167 in the last. But in the end we lost it ( Read more... ) -
Thank God It's (2nd) Friday
Today is the 2nd Friday of the month, which means only one thing to me - free wine, free beer and free art. And I finally had the chance to go the Hearne Art Gallery for the first time (it's very difficult to make it to all of the galleries in one night) and we met the feature artist of the month. Kewl! Dino Dash and Crash
Dino Dash:
Today, I completed my fifth 5K of the year, the Dino Dash. My time was an unimpressive, 46:48. But, I did get the chance to see old friends and meet 2 new ones, and I now have 2 new walking buddies. Here's to unforeseen accomplishments!

In Quest of 200....
I have resolved in my spirit that I may never run a 5K under 30 minutes. It just may be physically impossible for me. So in lieu of that goal, I'm now determined to score at least 200 in bowling. A pastor entered his donkey in a race and it won. The pastor was so
pleased with the donkey that he entered it in another race and it won
again. The local paper read: PASTOR'S ASS OUT FRONT.
The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered
the pastor not to enter the donkey in any more races. The next day

I remember...
I remember my activities on September 11, 2001 very well. Ironic, sense I can't recall what I did this past weekend. As with any other day, I'd woke up and prepared to go to work. Oh My GOD it's FOOTBALL!!!
So I decided weeks ago to give up watching television until America's Got Talent went off the air. But I deterred from this resolution (as I do with any other) and turned on the television when I got home from kickball practice, and much to my surprise there was FOOTBALL on TV ! *roars*
