Got a lot accomplished today, I think. Still some tweaks to be made on the painted areas, and of course more to add to the white regions. I'm debating now making his shirt red, but then I wonder if that will be too much combined with the red-glowing runes. (if I even use those at all..) Maybe a reddish-brown/maroon? Had a great time at GenCon! Got utterly slaughtered by WotC's portfolio reviewers, but took away some decent advice as well. Most people, other artists, seem to think my work doesn't suck. Mostly my sketchwork. (I just need to finish it..) For one thing, they said a lot of my work is too cartoony for what they were looking for, which I can agree ( Read more... )

Thanks for everybody's help! I just sent in the order to the printing company, 250 seemed a decent count for the cost, tho between that and the turnaround time, I didn't want to risk spending too much longer waiting on the cards. Between the listed turnaround time and the shipping, I should be in good time for GenCon.
