Hey everyone, I'm back online!!  And on 11-11-11, the last digital date in my lifetime.  The phone company repairman came today while I was at work, so he could not get in the house, but the problem was outside (on the pole, I think) and they must have fixed it, so now my internet connection is working again.  Yay!  Tomorrow I expect to do some LJ ( Read more... )

Was writing out checks this afternoon and whenever I went to write the date, I had to think about what I was doing because I kept subconsciously thinking, "November 5, 1955."  And I wasn't even around in the '50s!  I successfully wrote 2011 each time, but I really had to think about it.  Yeah, Back to the Future was one of my favorite movies. :)

[It's kind of crazy, the computer system we have set up in here at work has been going screwy the last several weeks, interrupting needed programs with a fair amount of downtime.  Sometimes it takes the internet down with it which is really bad, so not only you can't work (which is fine), but then you can't surf the web either, so it is a real ( Read more... )

Closing ceremonies let out at about 6:30pm, and after getting a few pictures, I headed over to the Golden Palace Chinese buffet, to get a good supper that would last me the rest of the night. Sunday morning had arrived, and I found the strength to start another day, the last day, of this fantastic convention. It wasn't too hard, actually, as I had plenty of motivation. Went down to my first panel of the day, which was Light Effects and Electronics in Fursuit Construction, at 10:30am.

By 2:40pm, the Fursuit Parade was done. I walked around the area outside the SOP Ballroom hoping to catch some better photographs of suiters in a non-moving setting, and others I had completely missed. But, seemed like a lot of them had disappeared- probably into the headless lounge, and after that long parade I don't blame them.

Hey, I'm on vacation, in Ocean City, Maryland!  It's one of my favorite places.  I'm here right now, so this is a live update.  Unexpectedly brought the laptop along at the last minute, after discovering the hotel had WiFi.  It's somewhat slow, but allowed me to connect and share this with all of you.
