everything i write here seems fickle and pathetic upon re-reading.

so i'll just say that this summer has been amazing thus far, and though i often feel a pang of sadness at the thought of leaving newton/south, i can't wait for wes. oh and my roommate's name is Egypt and she's a jock and will probably beat me up. SWEET.

I uploaded most of my CDs yesterday and today. I already have 441 songs. this is amazing.

I don't understand how I survived four years of high school without ipod or itunes. It just makes everything HAPPIER.

The last couple months have been crazy. Instead of everything coming to an end on one final day, I feel like I've put away all the little pieces of my high school career one by one. but i must wonder, how is it possible that i am going to prom tomorrow? how am i that old? how are any of us that old?

i love the end of the year. Today i cleaned out all the (wasted) paper from this long and arduous year. After sorting it into 2 piles--stuff I actually liked and am therefore keeping, and things i can't wait to get rid of--i gladly threw away the latter and filed the former away neatly.
