I hate CNN, but I was wrapped up in watching the images of the Middle East that they were showing this afternoon. The destruction is just heartbreaking. I feel so useless sitting there in my living room watching people dig their loved ones out of rubble. I wish there was more I could do. My next appointment to give blood is a little under two

Just came back from watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. My butt is sore from sitting for 2.5 hours, but I loved it! I don't think the quantity of sexxxy Johnny Depp screen time was as much as the first movie, but it was quality time!

Talk to God! Well, talk to iGod anyway. It's a fun little experience. The conversation isn't always smooth, but it's still a laugh. I broke iGod with some Canadian sarcasm when I said "Phew, good thing, eh?" :P

Some notable events from the recent past include: * getting a digital camera * going to Anime North and buying the awesome Scott Pilgrim graphic novels from Brian Lee O'Malley himself. * getting hired by Gondar Tutoring* visiting a friend I haven't

I just discovered a fantastic benefit of being a teacher in Ontario: free and/or discounted admission to museums and places like the Science Centre and ROM in Toronto! I am *totally* going to take advantage of this!!!
