Oh this is is beautiful. I love this insight into Mulder's mind in such a delicate, intimate, powerful moment. As I was reading I could picture it all as if watching it on a screen, as if it was a part of the original show all along, and I'd just never seen this particular scene before. I have a feeling this story is rapidly going to become part of my own personal canon.

Oh my, this is completely wonderful! That last scene of Mulder wrapping his arms around her and burying his face in the back of her next was so so true to their characters. And yay!
