I haven't posted in awhile, there's not a lot of exciting things happening.  Just day to day plodding on.  It's hard to make entries about that.

On the other hand, I think I might be getting my first migraine since Christmas =/.  Ugh.

 Health care reform passed, yay.

Old, rich, white men still try to limit, restrict, and deny women's health options, boo.

 Ireland gets a lot of slack for its weather but good golly I love it.  I don't mind the rain, and when it stops this place is glorious.  Dave and I live up on the mountains south of Dublin with a wall of windows facing North and East.  It's sunny and crisp and breezy and I can see all the way to the Irish Sea.  It's like, eternal spring here.   ( Read more... )

I was going to go to a farmer's market with Dave today, but I ended up getting a pounding, pounding head ache and slept all afternoon instead.

On the plus side, Dave and I are thinking about getting a kitten.

Oh god, guys, I still feel like absolute poop on a stick. That's been set on fire. My voice is completely gone, my nose is flowing, I'm achey and tired all the time. The doctor said I should be feeling better by now, and my throat does feel a bit better, yes, but everything else just feels rotten =/. Dave had a really bad, chesty cold last week ( Read more... )

Still snowy. I'm going to try my hardest to get into work tomorrow, but I have a bit of a dilemma. I'm about 85% sure I'm coming down with Strep Throat. I have redness at the back of my throat and a what looks like a white spot developing. My gland on the right side of my neck is tender and it's very hard to swallow.
