The "I wish we would have's" and the "We should have's" aren't doing us any good right now, but it's hard to not to think those things.

Next time we'll probably finance through the credit union, even though their interest rate was higher and not easily lock-able.

We seem to have a solution now, but the last 3 hours have been hell.

I didn't know you were that far along -- but to venture a guess, there's been gotchas that even your husband didn't catch... (sigh) It will be worth it when it is done, at least. :)

I'm not looking forward to the stress. Owning a home, yes, but the stress, I could do without.
