Psst... Public librarian positions I-IV are open in San Diego. I know, I know, I'm just sayin'!
Ick with the rat. I thought I spotted on on a pre-dawn walk with the pooch, after which I no longer allowed him to tree the kitties that roam the complex freely.
Re: fatigue, if your doc has already run the battery of tests (including for anemia), forcing yourself to do something to get your heart rate up, even for a few minutes, may help. Even just a sprint down the block and walk back may help! Though overdoing it may make you feel faint (swoony?).
I'm so glad to hear that sewing is progressing and that LoJ will work for you this year! Wheeee!!!
1. If San Diego had Good English Weather(tm) and inexpensive acreage for sale, I'd be all over it. Failing a major episode of global cooling, however, I'm afraid that I'll be Northward bound. Of course, in a perfect world, I'd just buy a ridiculously large plot of land, say, around 200 acres, and parcel it out in 10-acre lots and sell them to all of my friends at a good discount, thereby creating a utopian community of creative, liberally-minded, adventurous individuals who live nearby enough to share apple pies with during harvest time, but not so nearby that we all get on each other's nerves
( ... )
I hope they figure out what's wrong with you soon. That sucks. But that's why they call it "practicing medicine". :)~ I've gone up and done with hypothyrodism (mine is shutting down), hormones, high blood pressure (which all three cause each other), and when I tried to donate blood awhile ago, they rejected me because my iron level was below acceptable. Can't win. I'm redoing my Steampunk outfit and probably should post about it but it's mostly in the "have fabric, have patterns, have ideas" but nothing concrete yet. I do know I need to replace the black silk dupioni skirt before I damage it. I can't wait to see yours at CoCo.
At $20 copay each visit, I doubt I'm going to be pursuing that particular line of inquiry anytime soon. Thankfully, Steve has spent the last several years studying traditional oriental medicine, and while he can't give me acupuncture treatments until after he has his license, he can give me nutritional advice and medicinal herbs.
As for my steampunk outfit, I'm not allowed to actually buy the fabric for it until I finish a few more things for other people first. I have to admit though, I was eyeing some rather nice tweedy wool when I was downtown last Thursday shopping for fabric for Ryan's wedding vest.
