I finished painting all of the black bits of my Hnefatafl board this weekend, and it looks very nice indeed. Is it just me, or am I just about the only one who's actually really excited that next year's theme for Costume College is Medieval? No offense to chloeandrudy, but I was rather surprised to hear that the theme for the tea doesn't have anything to do with the Medieval period. MAGENTA!!!!
So, my Aunt has commissioned an 1860s ballgown from me and, after a very little bit of nudging on my part, has also agreed to let me make her a corset and drawers. Not just any corset though.
