Well, I'm off to Riverside tonight for the Dickens Festival! I still have to sew hooks and eyes and snaps to my new ballgown, as well as trimming the neckline, and I'm hoping that I can get away without boning the front of the bodice, but Caprice and I were kind of planning on spending all of Friday hanging out in our hotel room and hand-sewing. Yesterday, I dropped my car off at the mechanic's for a routine oil change, and to have them examine my rear bumper where a guy bumped into me at about 5mph last Thursday.
