SO I am safely back in the USA! It feels good to be home. I am so out of it because of the time change and jet lag and all of that. School starts on tuesday and I have a lot to do!

Today I finished the bulk of the work I have left to do. I am not freaking out so much anymore which is fantastic! Tomorrow I have a printmaking evaluation. I think things will go fine. The rest of our time in Lisbon was spectacular. The hostel we stayed at has people to take everyone out to the "cool" bars in town, so we went out with like 20 people on Saturday night. Lisbon is so amazing! Today we woke up and went to a flea market and got some great steals and then walked around the city a bunch. Tonight we are going to go out and see what the night life here is all about. We haven't really gone out since Amsterdam ( Read more... )

We made it to Portgual! Our hostel is so perfect and amazing. It is this old mansion and it is set up like a house and it just feels like everyone is a family. we are stitting in the living room listening to radiohead and reading about the city. It is rated one of the top 10 hostels in Europe and already we can see why ( Read more... )

So today we went and saw a handful of the gaudi buildings here in Barcelona, Park Guell, casa botallo, casa milo, and la sagrada familia church ( í´m not sure on the spellings). Everything was so funky! Lots of colorful mosaic and curvy lines. la sagrada Familia church is probably the coolest looking church on the planet (for real) and it isn´t ( Read more... )

We´ve made it to Barcelona! I have had a hard time turning my ´´spanish brain´´ on. French just comes out of my mouth.

A real update later, we are off to go see all that crazy Gaudi architecture.
