Florence was so wonderful! It was such a great relaxing weekend with the hetero-life partner. She showed me around her hood. So I have been working in the digital lab a lot. Since it is one of the few things that I can do right now. I remembered that I can scan my film on the flatbed scanner (even though the quality isn't as good as a film scanner), so now I have most of my images scanned into the computer. Today I got my hands on a computer with a scanner and Photoshop. The digital lab for the printmaking department is actually functioning so this means I can at least scan my Polaroids. Some hope has been restored!

I bought my tickets to visit Amanda in Florence for next weekend. I have to take a plane to a bus to a train haha. The ridiculously cheap airlines only fly to airports in the middle of nowhere. I spent the weekend with Veerle. We took the train to her hometown Kessel which is on the Belgian countryside. Her parent's house is a renovated farm house. Her mom made a Belgian meal for us which was mashed potatoes, fish sticks, and leeks with this white sauce. Friday I spent the day with Veerle in Antwerp. It is about 30 mins by train from Brussels. It is a student city so there are lots of hip youngsters and lots of cool shops and things like that.

Today Me and Eli took the train to the Belgian coast. We went to this town Knokke which is right on the border of Holland. We could of walked to Holland but it was freezing cold and foggy...so we didn't quite make it!
