I just found a "Made in China" sticker on my cat's tail.

Normally I'd blame my husband, but he's not home.  Perhaps he's really rooting for Yang Wei (I'm behind, just watching last night's broadcast right now.  Am I the only one who thinks Jonathan Horton looks a little too smug for his own good?).

Watching the Olympic gymnastics is like reuniting with some old friends: the announcers.  You've got Bob "Captain Obvious" Costas, Elfi Schlegel and Tim Daggett.

And then you remember that they're the kind of friends that you really only want to see every four years and OH MY GOD WOULD YOU STOP TALKING BOB.

I got tickets to New Kids on the Block!

The husband and I are in North Carolina for a quick vacation/visit to the parents.  We stayed in Wilmington for a few days and then came down to Topsail Island, one of the Outer Banks islands.  We've been here before and it's beautiful; unfortunately, today it's gray and windy.  It's not quite vacation season down here yet so our choice of dinner ( Read more... )

We are moving into our condo in 6 days.  Yes, almost 4 months after our original closing date, we are actually going to be moving into our home.  It's a different home than the one we originally tried to buy, but in the end I think that everything has worked out for the best ( Read more... )
