So, I'm 37 weeks and 4 days. I'm terrified. I have so much anxiety about how I'm going to handle more responsibility when the baby is born. I keep wondering if anyone is going to offer to help or even not turn me down when I ask for help. Ha! I can't believe how much time has passed since I updated. Bailey's surgery went really well and he has recoved beautifully:D We are all very relieved to have that in the past. today i am packing for a trip which i have been dreading. i am going to atlanta tomorrow for my nephew, bailey's, open heart surgery. bailey is 5.5 months old now, and overall a healthy child, but it seems that the time has come to repair his birth defect so that he can properly grow and thrive. i am nervous, scared, and also really hopeful. i ( Read more... ) -

a whole new world
hooray! matt did it! last saturday was a very busy and very PROUD day for all of us. in the morning we went to a special ceremony where the faculty of the engineering department inducted the new graduates into the order of engineers...they were each presented with a ring and took an oath to practice with integrity and caution as they serve ( Read more... ) -

so, the title sums it up...today has turned out to be ok after all. i ended up going out for a while, enjoyed a bit of retail therapy;) i took back some clothes that i bought a while back but didn't end up liking on me...got a killer tie-dyed peasant skirt, a shirt, an awesome shrug, and a bag to carry on our trip to disney world next month. i ( Read more... ) -
