I have absolutely no reason to be writing a LJ entry right now. However, my feet are hurting something fierce and I haven't built up the energy to move just yet. Food Post (and German Wicked)
Yesterday was the German Christmas Festival in Kitchener, Ontario. I always loved going to the German Festivals when I was younger because of the music, goodies, and best of all, FOOD!
Apple Fritters, Plum Cake, Potato Pancakes, Sausages and Sauerkraut, Pretzels, Spicy Wine, Waffles, Pulled Pork, Schnitzel on a Bun. . . YUM!

RESOLUTION!
I know I've been posting too many entries lately, but it was just announced:
THE LOCAL ONE STRIKE IS OVER!
I know at least 3 people who ought to be thrilled.
It's still only a tentative agreement, but most of the old favorites will be opening tomorrow. YAY?!? -
School and Teaching

Random Musings
Well, it it seems as everything may sort itself out by December. At 11pm, The League and Local One have announced that they are close to an agreement. The strike may be over as early as tommorow.. I'm rather curious about the details of the agreement that will be reached though ( Read more... ) -
Local One and Enchanted
Yay! The League and Local One have just organized another meeting for tomorrow. It seems that (after reading many blogs in an attempt to procrastinate my seminar presentation) the strike has been hitting EVERYBODY really hard.
