Stepped over to the Metropolitan Market. I'd go a block further to Safeway, save myself some money, but I can't be bothered. Planned on putting a lemon cheesecake together. I think about food often. Several times per day, and when I am not working, I like to cook more complex things.

Today I have no motivation. Three grocery stores within a two block radius, and I am not motivated to buy ingredients.

Our finance director is leaving now. She is a nice lady, pretty stern and controlling, and we've butted heads a few times over budget issues. But she is also loveable... as if sometimes when her guard is down she remembers to be amused and nice ( Read more... )

Last week I talked about how I might spend the extra money from my second job. I wanted to buy some things, like home theatre speakers or a tattoo. But in the end, I threw it at my debt. Not very exciting, but I will be out of debt that much quicker -- possibly by July or so if you don't count my student loans.

Thanks everyone for the sympathetic comments in response to my posts. I am feeling okay, but have no idea how to respond to condolences. I am not up for a ton of conversation with anyone. Going to work tomorrow, maybe. But I am just not up to face the world.
