What a surprise considering the success of BBC's Sherlock and the current movie franchise.

I understand that second season begins today in U.S. (on PBS..?).
Anyway, few words from me as a great fan of the original work.

It does Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's creation justice.
It's an exquisite adaption.
On it's own it's a mind-blowing series with some bloody amazing acting.

So great that there are still quality productions like this.

A Beautiful Friendship is a great book of Weber's Honorverse. I'm thirilled it will be a start of a sub-series.

I feel so ashamed. And confused!
I remember talking last year, on one forum or another, how it would be nice for the next novel to be in Ivan's voice.
Well, I was even more for Gregor's and Laisa, but I was yearning for Ivan's perspective as well.

To launch the high quality TV channel TNT in Belgium we placed a big red push button on an average Flemish square of an average Flemish town. A sign with the text "Push to add drama" invited people to use the button. And then we waited...

Watched it for 20 minutes and had to stop.
I know reviews were bad but I wanted to watch it myself, with an open mind, however....

It's really bad, miscasting and/or truly bad bad acting. It's..... bad acting. None of the actions or emotions they are trying to convey come through their body language or facial expressions. Absurd.
