I love the dark flirty tango of Holland and Ian; I love how Jill and JR and Tyler and Ian hang out like it's always Argent-Hale Reunion O'Clock; I looooooove Dylan and Tyler H's conspicuous twitter silence during the After Elton Slash Tournament and how the cast indelicately swallows up the Sterek zeitgeist; I love that Daniel Sharman (a) exists and (b) is ENGLISH and (c) has such great chemistry with Tyler P and (d) is daaaating Crystal; I love how Dylan and Tyler P are the sweetest BFF evez; I love Sinqua period~, and omg Keahu's cramazing twitter, and GAGE'S PUPPY. Character: Hansel, Gretel
Optional Details: Hunting things, saving people; the family business. This year I've been sucked into the world of dynasties that are destined to combat the supernatural (Teen Wolf’s Argents! SPN’s Campbells!). Hansel and Gretel are the first (and possibly last?) of their line. Write to me about them being close and fierce. I'm fully open to a romance, to simple pining, or just a warm bffdom. I want a window into their sibling codependency.

PROMPT THREE
Fandom: Cloud Atlas - David Mitchell
Character: Sonmi~451
Optional Details: OMG. I just saw the movie and had to rearrange my entire yuletide plan as a result. TELL ME, PLEASE, OH MY SWEET YULETIDE FRIEND, ABOUT SONMI~451 and how her fabricant heart completely shatters to reform into something resilient, mighty, and timeless. #hyperboleALERT.
I was so completely moved by her love story in the film (IT IS A MATRIX AU with a female messiah and male warrior/resistance fighter/love interest with the delicious message of identity fluidity; I'm a long time matrix fan so. omg.) that I would adore an exploration of how she and Hae-Joo worked as a pair (how did they fall in love and the weirdness of their power dynamic (she as damsel/messiah to his knight/supplicant; she as fabricant, he as pure blood)). As I didn't request the love interest's character, I am also open to this just being a gen piece about her and her feels.
NOW! This is requested under the book canon, and I’m right now learning that the movie did some huge creative changes to the overall structure of Sonmi~451’s ascendency. I will have the book read by Christmas so if you want to stick to book canon, awesome. I would also be equally happy with something in movie canon; for example, a fic about her life cooped up in the apartment.

SINCE I WROTE MY PROMPT I skipped ahead to the Sonmi part in the book and omg it's amazing. This book is amazing, I want to drown in it.

I also highly recommend this magnificent speech from Lana Wachowski when she received the HRC Visibility Award. In the speech - which is long! but worth your time!! - she talks about how she so closely identifies with Sonmi~451 and the importance of not being invisible. Love it. It matches so well with the themes and message of Cloud Atlas, ugh I just love it.

UPDATE: I went ahead and just read the whole Sonmi section and LOL sonmi/hae joo is really not a real thing in the book (and am i crazy or is hae joo/xi-li a thing??), oops. I mean, you can fic the hell out of it, for sure. BUT YEAH. If you stick 100% with book canon and are frysquinting at my shippy request, non shippyness is forever ok too! xx
