Well, this morning I awoke to discover Lola had "passed on." After seeing how bad she was getting, it actually came as a relief. I'm glad I got to spend the last 2.5 years with her in my life and I know lots of people have great Lola stories to tell because of her. The official volleyball team name is DNAcers (as in DNA and ace as in a unreturnable serve with a little enzyme humor -ase ending in there). I was super proud to be a part of this naming process. Seems like I got a good bit done today. Went to the official grad school orientation and was bored out of my mind. Luckily my program set us up pretty well so it was all just repeating information.
