Two weeks before the trip
In two weeks time we (Sweetest and I) leave for the States! It'll be my first trip across the Atlantic and I'm really looking forward to it! We'll start by staying a couple of days in New York, then on to Boston by train. I love trains! Second book done!
So, I finally, after a lot of rounds back and forth, made the last changes to the manuscript now known as Särskild and sent it to my editor. The last proof reading will be done out of house and then it's off to the printer's with it!
I'm proud, tired, nervous and a little disbelieving that it's done. Feels good anyhow.

That dreaded second book
I'm in the middle of revisions on my second book, and I still have flashes of dread and panic when I read it. Is it supposed to be this way? Every time or just now? My editor tried to cheer me up by reminding me of the nice reviews I got for the first, but when I read a few of those I got even more sweaty. What if they don't like this one as much? Eurocon 2011 - now on tv!
So, this summer's coolest event was Eurocon 2011 in Stockholm and while there I got the honor of doing the GoH-interview with Elizabeth Bear (matociquala). It's on national television right now! And on the 'net for those of you that don't live in Sweden. :)

Not my house, not my birds
I'm house-sitting for a friend, a big, airy house with a big, lush garden - and two tiny, noisy birds. Taking care of somebody else's house is strange. Nothing is familiar and still a lot is as you would've had it, were it your own house. I wish everybody a wonderful Walpurgis! Over here it's usually a big deal, with bonfires and events all day, but me, I'm going to spend it all with my manuscript. Deadline looms ever closer. Have fun and throw something on the fire! -

Sign for the right to love - I stand by Brenda
I believe in the right to love no matter if your love is of the same or the opposite sex. I believe that you have the right to be with whom ever you want to be with and not get killed for it. I'm lucky to live in a country where this is possible and where harassment for your sexual orientation is forbidden by law. Not everybody are as lucky.
